Lectures held at St Andrew's are organised by the St Andrew’s Trust for the Study of Religion and Society
Join New Zealand School of Music piano students Liam Furey, Otis Prescott-Mason, Ben Kennedy and Ethan Rawhita-Hotter as they present a variety of iconic solo piano works. The works explore many facets of pianistic expression, from the tonality of Mozart to the atonality of Schoenberg, the haunting story of Ravel’s “Ondine” and the rhythmic infectiousness of Chopin’s polonaises.
LIAM FUREY: Mozart Rondo in D major, K.485 and Schoenberg Klavierstuecke Op.11 no.1
OTIS PRESCOTT-MASON: Ravel’s Ondine
BEN KENNEDY: Chopin Polonaise in F# minor, op.44
ETHAN RAWHITI-HOTTER: Brahms Rhapsody in B minor, Op.79 no.1
