Piano Trio op.70 no. 1 in D major and Zemlinsky Piano Trio op. 3
The Koru Trio, comprising Anne Loeser (violin), Sally Isaac (‘cello), and Rachel Thomson (piano), are well known to Wellington audiences. Both Anne and Sally are members of the NZSO, and Rachel is a freelance pianist and teacher. They formed the trio to indulge their love of the wonderfully rich piano trio repertoire, and to enjoy the bonus of Anne’s excellent baking skills!
