Pianist/Composer Colin Decio and Performance Poet Ingrid Prosser will be performing their own creations alongside well-known music and poetry from the 19th & 20th centuries. Chopin, Grieg and poems by DH Lawrence from his 1923 volume Birds, Beasts and Flowers will be interspersed with Preludes and Two Estampes by Colin and two poems by Ingrid. Colin’s Prelude for Anne Frank was written especially for the 2012 theatre work Souvenir d’Anne Frank, performed throughout the UK, with Colin playing piano in the onstage piano trio. Ingrid complements the work with her long poem Light Obscured – based on the events of a day in London when the theatre work was being performed at the Greenwich Theatre.
