Free Lunchtime Concert – Stringendo (string ensemble)

A lunchtime concert is held weekly on Wednesdays and occasionally additional concerts on Thursdays in St Andrew’s Church, on The Terrace, Wellington. Entry is free though donations are appreciated. – an ensemble of very young players (primary school age) Young yes but hardworking according to their mentor Donald Maurice.
Forty very talented young string players perform:
Handel – Arrival of the Queen of Sheba
Vivaldi – Concerto Grosso in G minor
Vivaldi – Spring (cello squad)
Vivaldi – Double Cello Concerto – Allegro
Bach – Brandenburg Concerto No 3
Please note this is a THURSDAY concert.
