We have spent all week working on bringing this morning you the first videoed service with music. Ellen Murray prepared the Order of Service and various others had input. The OOS is now up on our website https://www.standrews.org.nz/archives/sunday-gatherings/sunday-gathering-29-march-2020-lent-5

Fionnaigh McKenzie helped Ellen record the service at home. Mark Stamper played the hymns early last week at St Andrew’s before lockdown and Sue Hirst recorded them. Pete Cowley in Gisborne ‘denoised’ them and Tom Gray in Dunedin added the words of the hymns. Those component parts were sent electronically to Tom and he has ’stitched’ all the files together to produce our first video service. All of that has amounted to hours worth of work up and down the country and we are deeply grateful to all who have contributed. But please do note that this process has allowed no time to check for bloopers. It is as it is. Enjoy and do provide us with feedback (but please be constructive). We are learning as we go.
