This week we consider how God and sacred themes play out in popular music from John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ to Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ We also celebrate the apology given by the NZ Government to homosexual men convicted prior to Homosexual law Reform. At the same time we grieve the difficulty evangelical gay Christians have as they come out to their communities (typified by Vicky Beeching).
