On this third Sunday after Easter we are particularly taking time to commemorate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi by 39 rangatira (chiefs) in Port Nicholson harbour (Wellington, NZ). This happened on 29 April 1840. In her reflection Susan reflects on how we have responsibilities in any Treaty or understanding we enter and that ancient scriptures can inform us on this.
