Rev Dr Feiloaiga Taule’ale’ausumai

Rev Dr Feiloaiga Taule’ale’ausumai brings a wealth of experience to her role as minister at St. Andrew’s on the Terrace.

Rev Dr Feiloaiga Taule’ale’ausumai (who is happy to be called Fei) is a published theologian and thought leader on Pacific theology and a respected voice in the national and international ecumenical community. Her extensive experience in academia, church leadership, and community engagement, along with her strong commitment to social justice, make her a unique and valuable part of our community.

Rev Dr Fei’s held roles such as Pacific Regional Secretary for the Council for World Mission, lecturer at the Knox Centre for Ministry and Leadership, and National Youth Coordinator for the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa NZ. She has spent time teaching at the Knox Centre for Ministry and St Andrew’s College Birmingham, and spent over 15 years as a parish minister.

Fei has represented the New Zealand Government at international interfaith dialogues, as well as chairing, convening, and organising numerous national and international faith groups and events.

Fei holds a Doctor of Philosophy from AUT, a Master of Arts in World Religions from Victoria University, and several other degrees in theology.

An Aotearoa born Samoan, Fei is fluent in English, Samoan, and has a working knowledge of Te Reo Maori. We’re very fortunate to have her at St Andrew’s on the Terrace.
