Antonia Grant is a Wellington-based violinist who recently graduated from Te Kōki New Zealand School of Music with a Graduate Diploma in Music. Her work spans orchestral playing, recording new compositions, and solo performance. She has a particular passion for Baroque music and plays as a violinist for the Queen’s Closet Baroque orchestra.
William Berry is a 20-year-old pianist who has enjoyed success in competitions across New Zealand. He has performed in masterclasses with globally renowned pianists such as Boris Berman, Edith Fischer, James Giles and Joyce Yang. William completed his undergraduate piano performance degree at Victoria University of Wellington in 2023, studying under Dr. Jian Liu, gaining various faculty prizes during his studies.
Antonia and William will perform a programme of music by two French composers:
César Franck – Sonata for Violin and Piano in A Major
Claude Debussy – Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Minor
