Delightful duos for violin and cello with Christine and Ian
Ian Greenberg
Ian Greenberg joined the NZSO as Assistant Principal cellist in March, 2023. He began cello at the age of five in his hometown of Ashland, Oregon, continuing his studies at Northwestern University, the Eastman School of Music and the Glenn Gould School. He is a member of the Britt Festival Orchestra and has performed with various ensembles including the Toronto Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Santa Fe Opera, and the New World Symphony.
Christine Wang
Christine has been a member of the second violin section of New Zealand Symphony Orchestra since 2022. Prior to this, she was Assistant Concertmaster of San Antonio Symphony and freelanced between the US and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Eastman School of Music and Master of Music at Rice University, studying under Oleh Krysa and Kathleen Winkler respectively.
